The end of the second semester brought a mix of academic responsibilities and festive excitement. Eid holidays were a time of joy, but with pending quizzes and assignments, balancing celebration and studies became essential. Online classes via Google Meet and Zoom allowed me to continue learning from home, though occasional network issues presented minor challenges. Staying disciplined during this period ensured that I completed assignments on time and retained a strong understanding of course concepts, demonstrating the importance of adaptability and self-motivation.
During the final weeks, database projects became a central focus. I trained a machine learning model, deployed it on GitHub and developed a professional portfolio showcasing my work. This experience provided practical application of theoretical knowledge, strengthened technical skills and prepared me for future academic and professional opportunities. Working independently and collaboratively on projects enhanced problem-solving abilities, time management and project planning skills.
As online classes concluded, I eagerly anticipated returning to campus for regular, in-person learning. Experiencing the difference between online and on-campus education highlighted the value of face-to-face interactions, hands-on labs and immediate access to faculty support. Reflecting on the semester, I recognized how academic projects, disciplined study routines and adapting to unexpected situations contributed to personal growth, technical development and a deeper understanding of effective learning strategies. Overall, this period reinforced the importance of perseverance, planning and embracing opportunities for both academic and personal advancement.
